  1. WOW!!!! You really know how to make a person cry!! :) This video is wonderful! My favorite parts are the "first meeting" video and final picture of the three girls holding hands! I loved being able to see the progression from tentative to comfortable and confident!! Children are amazing little souls aren't they? God Bless! ~Wendy

  2. I watched it the first time and had to push pause three times for tissues, then had to show it to my husband and cried all over again! When watching her walking out of building into the outside world all I could think of was "freedom" ....just like the freedom we have because God adopts us into His family. Also the freedom that we take for granted being born into this free country. Thank you for sharing. It was beautiful!

  3. Thanks for sharing a beautiful video and absolutely fabulous blogging of your whole trip in China. It brought back so many memories of our trip about a year ago to Beijing and Guangzhou. From the first picture of your precious daughter that you posted that we just gasped from her smile. (ok, so I am really partial to the Beijing girls!!), to the lining up of the crayons, to the crazy taxi ride in Beijing, to the emergency diaper change at the notary office about at the spot where Lydia was coloring, to the beautiful flowers on Shamian Island. You truly did a great job and we enjoyed watching your journey and praying for your family. ..and now the adventure begins....
    Blessings, Tammy and Kevin

  4. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. We are leaving on May 4 to pick up our son from CWI, and it was so wonderful to see the whole process. The change in her facial expressions from the first meeting to the rest of the trip are so amazing. Going from a stranger to a happy, loved child. What a gift you have given to share this. My whole family gathered around the computer to watch! One question I have is -- who was filming you at CWI? I pray for good sleep and a great adjustment for Lydia. 5. We asked our guide to use the video camera in the orphanage. She was happy to. We showed her how to use it while we were filling out the paperwork at the orphanage.
