While our cat has her own version of making the days count, the hours are rapidly counting down before we leave. Deciding which suitcases(we are up to four now plus two rollaboards and two backpacks) we need to take and packing for a child we have never met is proving to be more challenging than we expected. We will be ready, but there is still much to do.
I am reminded of a quote my mom gave me years ago.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.
